5 months ago, I set up my auto-insurance with an incredibly helpful State Farm representative (from a different office). Since then, my experience with this Federal Way branch has been an absolute nightmare due to their front desk staff. For months, I was hit with surprise $20 bills outside of my regular auto-pay, yet I never received my physical insurance cards. 3 months ago, I called this office for clarification. The woman who answered was incredibly arrogant, constantly cutting me off mid-sentence, and giving vague answers. She finally confirmed the payment went through and promised my cards would be mailed. They never arrived. Instead, I kept getting threatened with cancellation letters for the mystery $20 fee, all while my bank account was still being successfully charged every month for premium.

Today, I called again to resolve this and spoke to a woman who was just as rude (if not the same person). She continuously talked over me. When I asked why she kept interrupting, she condescendingly claimed she was just "answering my question." She blamed me for choosing paperless billing, snapping that paperless means no physical cards—even though I only opted out of paper billing, not my legal insurance cards. Her attitude was completely dismissive, impatient, and treated me like I was stupid. Due to the sheer hostility and lack of basic professionalism from this office's staff, I demanded to cancel my policy.

She unhelpfully snapped that there would be "no refund" with zero further explanation. When I naturally got frustrated by her terrible attitude, she had the nerve to ask why I was mad at her. The severe gap in service quality between the initial agent who signed me up and the toxic front desk staff at Brian Harris's office is shocking. I am taking my business elsewhere. Avoid this office if you expect to be treated with basic human respect."

It was ridiculous that for as much as I was paying I didn't even have uninsured motorist coverage. Thankfully my partner quickly talked to his friend and we got hooked with the highest coverage possible for an awesome price.
